About:

The opening exhibition of Omen space’s second season tells a story of a city built through demolition. Together with curator Karita Rytivaara, Omen space traces the contours of Memora through site-specific installations that bring forth the phases of Kasarmitori, alongside a discussion series.

The visual design is reflecting the rigidity and rationality of the subject matter of modernist architecture, demolition and concrete foundations. The visual design was created with the java library processing, which influenced the aesthetic of the visual design, with its digital cellularity complementing the theme of demolition. Blocks are revealed and removed, constructing and demolishing the graphic element.
